Isaac – he has a very elaborate one on YouTube, and if you dig down deep enough, on his IG

    trying that arm workout tonight!!!

bar – no one is hitting those numbers with perfect form with small legs and that is the basis of matt’s entire programming lol…

that being said, if what youre doing is getting you stronger and not bigger, and it hasnt worked for a long time (not just 1 week or 1 month) personally i would take a few months to look into different rep ranges or different styles you havent tried before (i.e. giant sets, metabolic/cell swelling stressors, etc). anything you havent been doing. my $0.02

Agreed 100% Matt. That has probably been my biggest takeaway from this site so far from all the athletes: sticking to the plan, doing what needs to be done, staying in your lane, and not looking back. its so simple. not always easy – but so so simple

how bad was your pain in your leg during the day and how bad during training? I (stupidly) trained through a hip injury for months before finally taking 1 months off of legs and 2 months off of quads entirely last year. everyday life it was bothersome. when training quads it was unbearable at times. it seems to have sorted itself out (with a lot of rehab and stretching adjacent muscles). i hope you get your sorted ASAP

hey rex, how do you feel mentally and physically now that you have mostly switched over to once a day training?

some of the best wheels in the IFBB…some of the most brutal and strong workouts/lifts…no coincidence there

hopefully that knee heals up ASAP Rex. Ever tried BPC157 or TB500? i have used BPC with success briefly before

yeah kyle its funny how different people can be man. when i was dieting and training twice per day towards the end, i was doing 1 cup of oats and whey iso 4x a day. digestion was great, hunger and appetite high, no GI issues, no digestion issues, normal bowel movements, no stomach issues ever. while my roommate would get stomach issues from either one alone. i can also drink like half a damn gallon of milk no problem haha. hopefully as i get older that doesnt change!

hitting your head with the weights is the worst!!  i think everyone has been there at some point in their bodybuilding journey lol

if you were going to train quads and hams on the same day instead of separately, would you continue to do the same workout setups you have been doing? or would you change some exercises around/volume etc.

its ironic because i rewatched some of your team andro videos just last week and when i watched your video from this week i immediately thought of the 2013 preps team andro recorded.

in your 1 month update video, it sounds like you are leaning towards something similar to your amateur arnold and olympia preps? where you did am. hams, calves pm. hams, quads / am. chest, abs pm. delts traps / am. back pm. arms, forearms? thats one of my favorite splits – i got it from you!

hopefully you get your leg sorted soon. as far as leg development goes i know a few people with MASSIVE legs who never barbell squat anymore (Jordan peters comes to mind) and opt for movements with better direct quad or ham loading

but man i cant and wont let go of barbell squatting unless im not physically able. theres just nothing like it

i dont remember where i read it, but i remember a powerlifter saying about squats “if this shit didnt work id still do it”
