Hey Matt, I listened to your interview on the MHMR Podcast and you talked about as you have continued to progress in your own lifting and coaching, the principles you learned in college have come back up. You mentioned they weren’t in flex magazine so you didn’t follow them, but then as you continued to progress you realized the relevance behind them… just was wondering any specifics there or take aways a young coach/athlete could build upon. Thanks Matt.

Hey Matt, 2 questions if I may..

What is your take on training quads/hams separate once a week with volume you have recommended me before (8-10 working sets) vs training both 2x a week with a 6-8 working set range for both days??

Also, just curious your thoughts on this.. there’s a bunch of bullshit “online fitness coaches” on social now, any thoughts or tips on someone who’s been a coach for 2+ years now, and looking to dive into online brand building? Asked this before I believe but never got a response I don’t think, if you have no thoughts absolutely cool Matt. Thanks so much as always.

<p style=”text-align: left;”>Hey Matt, how much time do you dedicate to core training/mobility work? I remember watching the road to Olympia for you guys and you tend to do abs in the morning fasted.. is that still happening? More focused on strength and relieving low back pain and hip tightness/weakness  rather than doing abs for aesthics if that makes sense.. Thanks for any insight Matt.</p>

Hey Matt, first off looking silly man.

My question is I’m severely lacking in my chest development.. I have been doing progressive overload style training, two sets one top of 6-8 and one back off 10-12. About 8 sets per chest day, once a week, consisting of incline press variation, pec dec fly, flat B.B. press, and another fly variation… any tips or suggestions for stimulating growth? I think my cueing for my form may be off.. anything you can think of would help tremendously.

    Thanks again.

Hey Matt.. first off best of luck to you in this prep. Hope you stay injury free and continue to kill it. This is actually an off topic question about specifically working but I will ask anyway.. I have been following you on social for over 4 years now, what would you say was the biggest contributor to growing your following and gaining such an organic community and following? I do follow guys like Gary for this kind of advice but You kill it on social media and not sure if you had any tips or strategies for someone like myself in the fitness industry looking to grow, but not in a bullshit way because you have always kept yours very real and one of the things I admire about you. If you respond thanks so much man.

Hey Matt quick question on your leg press movements.. I see with your stance the depth changes slightly but what do you recommend as far as how low to lower it? Is it different for everyone? Any tips/pointers here? Thanks so much Matt.

Hey Matt, thanks for everything you do. Had a question on your nutrition knowledge. Is there a certificate that you can say helped you gain your knowledge, was it more trial and error on yourself and athletes, was it more endless hours of research on the “Interweb”, all of the above? Just trying to gain more knowledge. Thanks Matt.
