how bad was your pain in your leg during the day and how bad during training? I (stupidly) trained through a hip injury for months before finally taking 1 months off of legs and 2 months off of quads entirely last year. everyday life it was bothersome. when training quads it was unbearable at times. it seems to have sorted itself out (with a lot of rehab and stretching adjacent muscles). i hope you get your sorted ASAP
