Shaun dropped a subtle hint as I was refeeding Nathan on some bagels earlier on in the week that he loved bagels so this weekend we added some in for his own high days. Day 1 I kept his base plan above intact and added 3 bagels total (1 to the 3 closest meals around training) and 20g of jam on each bagel, he ended up dropping about a lb over night so on day two we added a total of 4 bagels and 20g of jam to each in addition to his base plan. Woke up on morning three up 3 lbs so this was what we wanted, when I refeed I want the weight to go up as we know this is water and glycogen and it aids in the process before another push. This initial jump in weight is not fat gain and is a good thing!
