Hey Ben – I will typically always pull carbs intra before I pull carbs from whole foods OR even powder around the training perimeter the intra will always be the first to go. This is just my approach, I feel that from a performance, satiety and fat loss perspective this are more a tool when aiming to gain weight / get extra calories and not really a true need in bodybuilding.
