Wade – Thank you sir. Last question – Best I can tell, my current BMR is around 1900-2000 cals. Am I safe to start there? Have been taking in approx.1600 cals per day for the last couple weeks. Also, have been doing 80 mins cardio per day. How much can I shave off to start?
Hey man add in 600kcal to start from your base diet and keep cardio at 30 min a day you should be able to ride that for a while. Current Kcals are really low
So I followed a proper reverse for about 1 week starting on Feb. 16th, then came off the rails and pretty much binged for 4 days straight last week. Did a DEXA Scan today and it showed 174.6 lbs. and 6.1% BFP (that was fasted, but with roughly 1.75 liters of water ingested). My home scale showed 168 lbs. right out of bed this morning. I started reversing at 159 lbs. My question is where do I go from here – Should I re-renter a deficit and try to push for a few more weeks to get back to where I was? Or just go back to the reverse plan? Ideally I’d like to start from as lean as possible, but I am also not sure if I missed my window to take advantage of the anabolic rebound. Wanting to start my reverse ASAP, but want to make sure I am lean enough to do it right. My quads are striated and my glutes are starting to separate a little, but my midsection still looks pretty crappy. I suspect I’m holding some water (I definitely abuse artificial sweeteners and I put plenty of salt on everything). Short of cutting all sweeteners, is there a safe and easy way to validate water retention or shed some of it?

What’s your stance on artificial sweeteners? Are some worse than others, daily intake guidelines, etc. I’ve gotten so used to crystal light that plain water is becoming a chore. Thank you
I am 5’7″, 167 lbs, currently at single digit (I think) BF%. I have been dieting around 2000 calories (228 P / 71 C / 90 F) and doing 75-90 mins cardio per day for 8 or 10 weeks. I want to start reversing into a bulk soon.
I went off the rails on Thanksgiving and took down about 10,000 calories, but was back on-track the next day. My weight was up to 173 the day after the holiday, but I am back down to 167 lbs. four days later. How bad did I damage my insulin sensitivity, and how long will it take to recover?
Also, how do you recommend increasing calories and reducing cardio as I reverse into a bulk?
