    Hey Matt,

I think that a video about nutrient timing will be very helpful for a lot of us

Because we see you spacing your carbs across the day in pretty much all of your meals, did you see any benefits to use them just around the workouts and mostly all of them post workout ?

    Thanks !

Hey Michaela ! Yes a video about training will be very interesting !
Are you doing planned deload ? Because with all that intensity your central nervous system need some recovery time to time no ? If yes, what are you doing ?

    Thanks !

    Hey Matt !
How Shaun is going with this lower frequency program ?
Because he was training with a super high frequency in the past (3x chest and back per week), better recovery, prevent injury ?

    Hey Matt !

When you do compound mouvements for triceps (dips, close grip bench), did you count them in your weekly chest volume as well ?

Same thing for RDL on hamstring day etc

Second question is about working around weak body parts (Chest in my case), what will be the most interesting set up in your opinion ? Or another one of i’m wrong

    hams and calves (heavy rdl)

    chest and triceps

    rest

    back and biceps

    quads and abs

    shoulders + 2 Chest mouvements

    rest

    or

    hams and calves (heavy rdl)

    chest and biceps

    rest

    back and abs

    quads and abs

shoulders and triceps (with dips and close grip bench)

    rest

    thanks for the reply

Your physique looks fucking great Matt !

I’ve seen on instagram that you start training upper chest with your shoulder workout, can you explain your new split ?

Do you think that we can do this offseason to improve weak body parts ?

Hey man ! That’s awesome good luck with your prep !

Can you talk about your workouts ? Type of split, way of training etc

And how your fat are so low on training days ?

    Hey Matt !

Do you plan everytime your workouts with specific days of the week (monday = chest and biceps)  or do you prefer using rotation like 2 on, 1 off for example with your regular split ?

    Thanks !

    Hey Matt !
Quick training question, when training a lacking body part (hard to focus on good contractions/feeling the muscle), do you think it can be interesting to start with a machine and switch to the heavy compound after ?

Example for chest, start with a decline chest press focus on feeling the muscle/hard contractions (8-12 reps), after that some heavy incline db (6-8reps), some heavy dips (6-8 reps) and finish with with cable flyes focus again on good contractions/pump work (everything with 2-3 sets focus on execution/load)

    Thanks man !

Hey Matt ! Thanks for your answer about insulin sensitivity !

My second question is more about training, on a shoulder and triceps day, do you see any problem to start with Triceps compounds (close grip floor press and dips) before hitting the shoulders ?

This compound are also used to do a secondary work for chest (lagging muscle) on a 4 day split (chest and biceps, back and abs, rest, shoulders and Triceps, Legs, rest)

    Hey Matt !

What’s your tricks to improve insulin sensitivity?

First I’ve decrease my carb intake (not the calories) and up the fats ratio

start to include apple cidar vinegar at night or post meal with high fat

start consuming carbs only pre, intra and post and my pump is better, more lean and zero problem with energy

And be more careful with how i digest food

if you can give me more advices will be really appreciated! Thanks!

    Hey Matt !

With a classic training split, every body part 1x/week.

If chest is lagging, do you think it’s more interesting to train triceps with compound like close grip bench, dips etc to had a little bit more stim on this area ?

same thing for back with stiff legged dead on leg day for example.

    Thanks for your answer !
