I am a huge proponent of the bike because there is no eccentric component to a bike, no joint impact and it does aid in keeping the legs fuller. When I finish cardio (all I use is the bike) I leave with a pump rather than my legs feeling dead. This is not to say it does not deplete glycogen as it does but I do think it aids in keeping legs fuller vs other methods of cardio.
